You can easily use the sand wedge and also the pitching wedge to chip your ball without using the chipping wedge. They are extremely useful when the ball is around 100 yards from the hole and using other wedges can actually send your ball far from the greens. You can also use pitching wedge instead of sand wedge in just one condition if the ball is less than 27 yards from the greens.
